MARKETING manager Tina Pratt was ‘sky high’ after raising more than £400 with her daring leap for a cancer charity.

The 26-year-old who is head of marketing and PR at Alexander Advertising in Wallingford, plunged 10,000ft out of a plane in aid of Against Breast Cancer last month.

The charity funds ground-breaking research to improve detection and increase survival after a breast cancer diagnosis.

Miss Pratt, of Dorchester-on-Thames, who has been fundraising for cancer charities since losing her granddad to the disease, said the tandem skydive, a free-fall at 120mph, was the perfect chance to combine a life challenge with a good cause.

She said: “I've done charity work before, but this is one of the biggest things I've ever done.

“And it was absolutely brilliant. As soon as I landed I wanted to do it again.”

Miss Pratt was watched by around 100 people as she embarked on the daring drop at Hinton Airfield, Brackley on Sunday October 23.

She said: “I’d like to thank all the organisers at Against Breast Cancer, who were very efficient, and anybody who sponsored and supported me.”
