A YOUNG man in a weight vest is checked by police as a member of the public thought it was a bomb (Oxford Mail, October 5).
The man from Iran says “the colour of his skin was the real reason”.
What rubbish! Years ago, with IRA troubles lots of Irishmen were checked. I wonder how Iran’s police would have dealt with a UK citizen.
All credit to the courage of the officers who dealt with him.
