A 28-year-old man who repeatedly failed to pay his council tax has been jailed by magistrates.
Charles Hart, from Wallingford Street, Wantage, was arrested on Monday and appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on the same day, where he was jailed for 30 days for not paying his council tax.
He had previously received a 30-day suspended sentence in February, requiring him to pay £20 per week to cover council tax arrears worth more than £3,200.
