Drayton maintained their 100% start to the league with a fine 5-2 victory away at Botley on Sunday morning. Drayton took full advantage of the slope in the first half and took the lead early on when Josh Dennis broke through the Botley defence and slotted home. Further strikes from Mason De Silva and Taylor Powell, whose pace was causing panic every time he got the ball, gave Drayton a commanding 3-0 interval lead. Despite playing up the slope, Drayton continued to take the game to Botley. Josh Dennis made it 4-0 after he jinked his way through several challenges and finished from just inside the box. Despite being reduced to 10 men through injuries, Botley never gave up and got back in to the game when Joshua Mullin latched on to a clever through ball and finished in style. Drayton increased the lead again after Nick Webster's piledriver was brilliantly parried away by the Botley keeper, but the loose ball was smashed home by George Baker. Botley got a deserved 2nd goal late on when Joshua Mullin got his 2nd of the match. Another great all round team effort by Drayton. Well played
