Cannabis, cocaine, computers, motorbikes and pushbikes were seized in a police raid on a house on an Oxford estate.

Officers carried out a search warrant at a property in Samphire Road, Blackbird Leys, yesterday morning.

They seized four cannabis plants and bags of the dried Class B drug with a street value of more than £350.

A 44-year-old man from Blackbird Leys was arrested on suspicion of cultivation and possession of Class B drugs and handling stolen property and a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B drugs and handling stolen property.

Both men have been bailed until November 13 pending further inquiries.

Sgt Rob Axe, pictured, said: “This warrant was executed as a result of community intelligence and we thank the public for the information we get from the community.

“When we get this kind of information we do our best to act on it.”

He added: “We’ve got an excellent track record of carrying out warrants on the estate and we will continue to do that.”
