A Nnew volunteer-run choir in Witney is helping children learn to sing, grow in confidence and make friends.
Songscope caters for eight-to-14 year olds, and is the only dedicated children’s choir in the town.
Ben Whiteside, 10, said: “I really like singing inside school and when I heard about Songscope I knew I would enjoy it.”
The Ducklington Primary School pupil added: “I like the sound we make together and I like performing in front of people.”
The youngsters will have the opportunity to perform together in front of a crowd this December, when a concert will be held at Cokethorpe School.
The choir practices at Ducklington Primary School, Aston Road, on Wednesdays during term time from 6pm to 7.30pm.
