An expert witness has told jurors a doctor carried out unnecessary breast examinations.
Yenugula Srinivas, who was a locum in Oxford, denies 11 charges of sexually assaulting patients.
As the trial of the 41-year-old, of Church Road, Sandford-on-Thames, entered its third week at Oxford Crown Court yesterday, prosecution witness Dr Frances Cranfield said some of his examinations were “completely wrong”.
Referring to a patient given a breast examination after seeking a repeat prescription for the contraceptive pill, Dr Cranfield said there was no need for such a procedure.
The trial continues.
