Amir Bajwa, 19, of Langley Close, Oxford, admitted failing to give a roadside breath test and breaching a conditional discharge with a further offence in Oxford on May 25. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Michael Bourke, 44, of Reading Road, Woodcote, admitted two counts of persistently using a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another in Oxford on February 25 and March 25. Jailed for 137 days “because of previous convictions for similar offences, second offence was committed while on bail, under the influence of alcohol at the time”.

Jhonny Texeira Farias, 34, of Magdalen Road, Oxford, admitted burglary of a laptop, mobile phone and tobacco from a property in Hurst Street, Oxford, on April 26. Given a three-month 9pm-6am curfew and told to pay £865 compensation and £60 costs.

Clifton Bullock, 58, of no fixed address, admitted possessing cannabis in Oxford on January 2. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Andrew Hurtault, 30, of Westlands Drive, Oxford, admitted theft of a bicycle valued at £100 in Oxford on April 18. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Leigh Oliver, 39, of Heol Degwm, Bridgend, Glamorgan, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A420 at Shrivenham on January 10. Fined £165, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Tony Attwood, 30, of Phipps Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two bottles of a cosmetic product from Boots on May 18 and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offences of shoplifting resentenced. Given six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and 12 months’ supervision.

Marcin Kotola, 31, of Waterbeach Road, Slough, convicted of driving without due care and attention and without insurance on the M40 at Lewknor on February 18. Fined £300, £300 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given six penalty points.

Alexandre Pouget, 43, of Shene Buildings, Bourne Estate, High Holborn, London, convicted of causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on September 9, 2010. Told to do 200 hours’ unpaid work and pay £2,000 compensation.

Michael Gallagher, 30, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting meat products valued at approximately £50 from Budgens in Yarnton on April 5, failing to surrender to court bail on April 20 and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £150 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed paid by detention in the courthouse until the end of the day.

Benjamin Woods, 27, of Crowsley, Henley-on-Thames, convicted of failing to provide a roadside breath test in Abingdon on October 24. Fined £365, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £775 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Samuel Elkins, 21, of Wantage Road, Wallingford, admitted drink driving in the Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, on February 12. Namely having 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and banned from driving for 46 months.

Kera Gibson, 20, of Patterson Place, Oxford, admitted failing to attend an initial assessment to asses a drug dependency having tested positive for cocaine and heroin on December 16. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Julie Grant, 39, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on February 11 and breach of a conditional discharge by a further offence. Given drug-rehabilitation requirement and told to pay £100 compensation.

Howard Russell, 57, of Langley Road, Abingdon, admitted breaching an anti-social behaviour order in Abingdon on June 9 by being abusive and aggressive to officers, and assaulting a Pc Norris on the same day. Jailed for 12 weeks due to “previous convictions”. Also told to pay £100 compensation.

Rhys O’Neill, 21, of Preston Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis in Abingdon on May 22 and June 9, and failing to surrender to bail on June 6. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Luke Calle Brazil, 25, of Church Lane, Wendlebury, admitted drink driving in Grovelands, Kidlington, on April 23. Namely having 143 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107 milligrammes. Fined £300, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

John Corcoran, 23, of Middle Ground, Wheatley, admitted theft of power tools valued at £350 in Henley on June 3. Fined £150, £150 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

Penny Measey, 31, of Chillingworth Crescent, Oxford, admitted failing to surrender to bail on June 7, shoplifting items worth £77.94 from New Look in Oxford on May 5, failing to surrender to bail on June 1 and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offences of assaulting two police constables and being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on October 23 resentenced. Jailed for two weeks.

Jailed for six months.
