BINS spilled across an Oxford road yesterday after two lorries crashed.

A white Vauxhall Movano carrying bins collided with an Iveco insulated lorry in Hollybush Row at about noon.

Police and firefighters were called but no one was injured.

The load took two hours to clean up and one lane was closed for most of that time.

Lianne Sammons, manager of The Honeypot pub across the road, said: “I heard a noise and saw that the top of the van had come off and everything was in the middle of the road.”

Kent-based frozen food firm KFF confirmed one of its lorries was involved in the crash but refused to comment.
