SOME may view Max Mason as a shameless self-promoter but you’d have to be pretty po-faced not to raise a smile at his restaurant’s closing event that ‘shut’ part of Walton Street.
Pen-pushers at the city council are no doubt unhappy he didn’t apply for a permit, but we hope they take a relaxed attitude.
It brought a bit of colour and community revellery on a Tuesday night to Jericho and no great harm was done.
