I CANNOT wait to see the new Oxford Airport fire engine, capable of carrying “11,900 tonnes of water” as reported in the Oxford Mail August 16.
In order to carry this weight it would have to be somewhat longer than the runway!
Perhaps it should have read kilogrammes or litres?
