ABOUT 1,200 homes in Cowley were left without power this morning after a fault with Scottish and Southern Electricity’s underground cables.
The properties lost their electricity at 6.20am, but 700 of them regained power ten minutes later after the supply was re-routed.
Spokesman Duncan MacDonald said the “vast majority” of homes regained power at 8.15am, and at 9.30am, just five homes in Horspath Road were still suffering a blackout.
