COTSWOLD Line train services are being disrupted this morning due to problems with new signals between Worcester and Moreton-in-Marsh.
This part of the Oxford-Worcester rail route has been closed for the past fortnight during work to complete a £67m project to reinstate double track on much of the line.
A reduced train service is operating at present, with some services diverted away from the Cotswold Line and replacement buses operating instead.
Disruption is expected to continue throughout the day, with extended journey times.
Among the trains diverted on another route is the 5.34am from Hereford to London, which was due to call at Kingham at 7.15am, Charlbury at 7.26am and Hanborough at 7.34am.
The 6.53am from Worcester to Oxford - which calls at all West Oxfordshire stations and is due to arrive in Oxford at 8.12am - and later services are set to operate as planned but passengers are advised to check if their train is running before setting out to stations.
