A round-up of people convicted at magistrates' courts around the county recently: OXFORD l Cameron Evans, 18, of Stowford Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on January 21 and causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on April 2. Existing youth rehabilitation order revoked and original offence of causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on January 26 resentenced. Told to pay £250 compensation and do 120 hours’ unpaid work. Also told to participate in a reparation programme for four days and ‘substance misuse offending’ for six days.

l Jessica Perkins, 34, of The Ridgeway, Nettlebed, admitted driving without due care and attention in Henley-on-Thames on February 2. Fined £50 with a £15 victims’ surcharge, £50 costs and three penalty points.

l Daniel Hope, 28, of HMP Bristol, admitted stealing items including a Rolex watch, car and house keys and bank cards valued at £3,190 in Twickenham on November 6; theft of mobile phones, car and house keys and other in three incidents in Oxford on November 9. Jailed for 26 weeks “because of the many previous similar offences and this was sophisticated and planned and was an inconvenience to the victims involved”.

l Stephen Rushmer, 47, of Warneford Lane, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Marston Street, Oxford, on April 15. Six-month conditional discharge.

l Paul Armstrong, 31, of Beauchamp Place, Oxford, admitted using violence to secure entry to a property and assault by beating in Oxford on March 21. Given a 14-day curfew and a two-year exclusion requirement not to enter an area of Blackbird Leys. Told to participate in a domestic-violence programme for 28 days and to be supervised for 24 months. Told to pay £85 costs.

l Thomas Richards, 24, of Lowell Place, Witney, admitted obtaining a taxi ride by a dishonest act, namely not having the ability or intention of paying the driver, in Oxford on February 19. Jailed for two weeks consecutive to a sentence already being served.

l Graham Collier, 49, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, to cause harassment, alarm or distress and assaulting a police constable in Oxford on April 9. Given 12 months’ supervision and told to attend the Thinking Skills programme for 35 days. Told to pay £50 compensation.

l Lucy Summerfield-Cartwright, 34, of Bertie Place, Oxford, convicted of assaulting a police constable in Oxford on December 11. Given a four-month jail term, suspended for a year, due to “history of similar offending”. Given 12 months’ supervision and an 18-week curfew. Told to pay £150 costs and £50 compensation.

l Steven Armstrong, 49, of Crescent Road, Wokingham, admitted drink driving on the M40 at Thame on February 13. Had 235 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80. Given an alcohol-treatment requirement for six months and 19 days’ Thinking Skills, as well as a year’s supervision. Banned from driving for four years with £65 costs.

l Anthony Lucas, 39, of Hatch Side, Sutton Courtenay, admitted driving while unfit through drugs on December 23 in Ridgefield Road, Oxford. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

l Craig Such, 28, of St Peter’s Road, Didcot, admitted causing criminal damage to two televisions and shelving units in Didcot on May 13. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

l Reuben Whitehouse, 28, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on March 6 and failing to surrender to court bail on March 22. Fined £50 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, paid by detention at court until the end of the day.

l Neil McCann, 40, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of Chambord liqueur valued at £6.79 from Tesco in Oxford on April 30. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £50 costs.

l Monica Perinova, 26, of Cherwell Close, Bicester, admitted drink driving in Polstead Road, Oxford, on April 29. Namely having 52 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.

l Farhad Zabeti, 24, of Townsend Square, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Donnington Bridge Road, Oxford, on March 31. Had 128 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. A year’s driving ban.

l Yat Wong, 42, of Jackson Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in North Way, Oxford, on March 22. Had 148 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80. Fined £85 and a £15 victims’ surcharge. Banned from driving for 18 months.

l Jonathan Simpson, 33, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted breaching the peace in Oxford on May 15. Bound over in the sum of £250 for six months.

l Patrick Smyth, 49, of Henley Street, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £100, a £15 surcharge and £85 costs.

l Mustafa Shekir, 25, of Millets Farm, Garford, Abingdon, convicted of driving without due care and attention in Garford on October 29. Fined £300, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £775 costs. Given six penalty points.
