THE financial good news is not just limited to the Enterprise Zone in the south.
Tourism is up again in Oxford, partly on the back of Harry Potter and the Morse/Lewis franchise.
A concern, however, must be what lasting damage the riots have done to this country’s reputation.
Thankfully, it appears to have been a violent episode that was short-lived and Oxford certainly did not flare up like London, Birmingham, or even Gloucester.
But images of rioting will stick in the memory of foreign tourists.
