Thames Valley police officers patrolled the riot hit streets of London last night as the violence continued in the capital.
The force was one of nine to send officers to assist the Metropolitan police force as they attempted to bring the trouble under control.
The force pulled in more than 1,700 extra officers to help with Kent, Essex, Hampshire, Surrey, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Sussex also sending bobbies to the capital.
Commander Christine Jones, said: "The violence we have seen is simply inexcusable. Ordinary people have had their lives turned upside down by this mindless thuggery. The Met will ensure that those responsible will face the consequences of their actions and be arrested."
