Wiltshire Police have confirmed which pub Oxford United fans will be allocated at this month’s Swindon game.
Football liaison officer James Neighbour said United fans looking for a drink ahead of the match on August 21 will be directed to the Merlin.
The pub, formerly called the Oxford, is on the corner of Groundwell Road and Drove Road, within sight of the County Ground.
Pub manager Mark Webster said away fans would be welcome from 9am and there would be room for between 300 to 400 people.
However, he said the pub will be solely for Swindon supporters after the game.
