A man was arrested yesterday after an arson attack on a narrow boat.
Police and fire crews were called to Bossoms Boatyard, off Binsey Lane, shortly before 7.50am.
The boat was badly damaged, but no one was injured.
Fire officers also worked with the Environment Agency to minimise contamination to the river.
A 42-year old male, arrested on suspicion of arson, was last night in police custody.
