ANDREA Summers and her children were among visitors who had their intriguing possessions inspected by Ashmolean Museum experts.
The Southmoor resident took sons Niall, eight, and Joseph, 12, to find out more about a marble they found while on holiday in France. Experts from the Oxford attraction held an open session on Wednesday to identify the county’s would-be hidden treasures.
. Mrs Summers said: “They said it could be 17th or 18th century. I don’t think we will sell it if it’s worth something — it will remain in my son’s toy collection!"
