MONTY Python’s Flying Circus has come to Long Hanborough.
I refer to the affordable housing plan near Riely Close which must be the most inaccessible site possible.
The parish council has chosen the most environmentally damaging option possible.
The other option entrance is as bad!
The common sense option would be either to buy up ex-council houses for affordable housing – there are two for sale on Church Road – or for the council to give permission for the owner of land between Long Hanborough and Church Hanborough to build dwellings on condition a number of the dwellings were given over for affordable housing.
Of course, that is the common sense approach.
Regrettably the Monty Python approach will prevail.
