SO far the authorities have managed to decimate the Royal Navy, the Royal Air Force, and the Army, and now seem intent on destroying the Grenadier Guards.
Presumably Boy Scouts (if they have not been disbanded) will be able to fill the defence and ceremonial gap.
While at it, why not go a stage further and get rid of nurses, who could be replaced by Girl Guides and Brownies – provided, of course, they have passed their First Aid Badge.
Even the police seem to be drifting towards ex-service men being taken on and rushed into top ranks.
I see disaster ahead if these ridiculous proposals come to fruition!
An afterthought – perhaps ex-national servicemen could be drafted into the SAS. They would be unstoppable with the right ammunition for their Zimmer frames, etc.
