I WOULD like to respond to Edith M Parsons re (Oxford Mail, July 21, Viewpoints).
Edith, did you read the article (Oxford Mail, July 9)? The whole subject of the article was Northway Estate not Northway Church.
The headline was Golden Day: Oxford’s most attractive ESTATE marks its 50th anniversary.
All the people interviewed talked about the estate.
The only reference to the church was that they got the idea from Headington Baptist Church; the idea of celebrating Northway’s golden anniversary.
You are right Edith, my father told me all what you said regarding the shops etc. I am not confused about the article, it was all about Northway Estate. I suggest you read it.
