OXFORD Ion Dumitrachescu, 20, of Tivoli Road, Hounslow, admitted shoplifting four bottles of whisky valued at £68 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on April 12 and a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Fined £80 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, paid by detention in the courthouse to the end of the day.

Michael Ndebwoha, 39, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Cowley, on March 27. He had 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for 18 months.

Michael Trinder, 20, of Corunna Crescent, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) and a knife in Abingdon on March 31. Fined £70, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also given a 12-week curfew.

Mark Sinclair, 23, of Kersey Crescent, Speen, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Stert Street, Abingdon, on March 25, and failing to surrender to court bail on April 13. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Deemed paid by detention until end of the day.

Michael Barter, 19, of Clark’s Row, Oxford, admitted assaulting Pc Linzey in Oxford on January 5. Jailed for six weeks, consecutive to an existing prison sentence “because you spat at a police officer and you have previous similar offences”.

Karen Quinn, 20, of Knights Road, Oxford, admitted taking £840 from WH Smith in Oxford between June 1, 2010, and March 23, 2011. Given 80 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £500 compensation.

Roger Felton, 42, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on January 21. Given a 12-month conditional discharge. Must pay £50 compensation.

Nyiah Williams, 36, of no fixed address, admitted shoplifting two gift sets of perfume, valued £96.50, on November 10, three gift sets of perfume at £142 on November 11 and three gift sets of perfume at £129.50 on November 12; all from Boots in Oxford. Given a 24-month conditional discharge.

Roman Galilski, 44, of Windmill Road, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Littlehay Road, Oxford, on June 13. Given a three-month curfew and told to do 60 hours’ unpaid work. Banned from driving for a year.

Stephen Wilson, 40, of Templar Road, Oxford, admitted stealing a handbag in Oxford on November 13. Given a year’s supervision and a six-month drug-rehabilitation order. Also told to pay £150 compensation and £100 costs.

Marie Alima, 27, of London Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on August 23. Given a six-month supervision order and told to pay £50 compensation.

Ikechi Njoku, 36, of Sheepway Court, Iffley, admitted breach of a non-molestation order by emailing and phoning on February 13 in Oxford. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Paul Rowland, 32, of Ashmole Place, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two pairs of trainers, valued at £50, from Sports Direct, Oxford, on February 25. Must do 100 hours’ unpaid work. £85 costs.

Tony McDonald, 20, of Sandy Lane, Littlemore, admitted £200 criminal damage to a window and noticeboard at the Warneford Hospital on November 9 and 23. Told to pay £100 compensation.

Peter Palmer, 56, of Plover Drive, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in The Slade, Oxford, on April 1. He had 158 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal 35 microgrammes. Given a six-month curfew and told to pay £30 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Stephen Reeves, 22, of Burchester Avenue, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on March 31. Given a six-month curfew. Must pay £50 compensation, £85 costs.

Keith Grehan, 32, of Iffley Road, Oxford, convicted of driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Oxford on June 15, 2010. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs. Banned for 20 months.

Neil Wingfield, 40, of Brookside Way, Bloxham, convicted of assault by beating in Banbury on November 2, 3, 4 and 5. Also admitted criminal damage to a phone and sat-nav. Convicted of sexual assault in Banbury on November 4. Given 18 months’ supervision and told to participate in a rehabilitation programme for 36 days. Told to pay £965 costs.

Philip Horwood, 50, of Jackson Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on the A40 in Oxford on March 9. He had 116 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107 milligrammes. Fined £120, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for a year.

Thomas Lillis, 67, of Divinity Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on October 27. Jailed for 22 weeks “because of your record, repeated offence”.

Margaret Villamuera, 62, of Walton Well Road, Oxford, admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause Pc Haq harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on April 3. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.

Richard Mellis, 42, of Main Street, Forest Hill, admitted fraud by false representation by stating a Nokia 6300 mobile phone had been damaged beyond repair between May 4, 2010 and June 19, 2010. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and told to pay £100 costs.

Reuben Campbell-Maasz, 18, of William Lucy Way, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Park End Street, Oxford, on January 30. Fined £20, £15 victims’ charge and told to pay £50 costs.

Cassandra Sellwood, 20, of Evenlode Tower, Oxford, admitted fraud by false representation in Oxford between June 1 and 9, 2010, by advertising a flat for rent without authority, intending to gain £1,200. Admitted failing to surrender to bail on March 8. Must pay £600 compensation and £20 costs.
