TRAFFIC cop Brian Perry is in training to cycle up one of the steepest roads in the Alps to raise cash to support bereaved children.
Mr Perry, of Bicester, will travel to Italy in September to cycle the 10,000ft high 27.4 km long Stelvio pass between Italy and Switzerland, which is closed for one day a year.
Father-of-two Mr Perry, 33, hopes to raise £1,000 for the Taplow Traffic Charity Trust, a police charity that pays for bereaved children to go to Euro Disney.
He said: “The charity is designed for children who have been bereaved as a result of a fatal collision to help them get over what they have been through.”
Mr Perry will be joined by David Elliott-Smith, who is also from Bicester.
