CHILDREN and teachers from New Hinksey Primary School, Oxford, enjoyed fun in the sun at their summer fete.
Activities included a bouncy castle, coconut shy, barbecue, and a balloon launch at the Vicarage Road school.
Year Two teacher Penny McCarthy said: “It was a great success — fantastic. It was a really enjoyable day for the staff and the parents and members of the community.”
Zainab Kadir, 27, took her children Mustfa, six, and Miraya, three, to the event.
Mrs Kadir, of Gordon Street, said: “It was brilliant and we had a good time.
“The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed it and the kids loved it.”
