THOUSANDS of people descended on Charlbury for the annual Riverside Festival.
Organisers said it was one of the best events yet, with Saturday’s headliner The Rock of Travolta stealing the show.
Some 3,000 people attended.
Festival director Andy Pickard, left, said: “It has been a great weekend.
“The Rock of Travolta were amazing. They put on a mighty show.
“For music, this year has been amazing, but last year was a lot sunnier.
“We had some short, sharp showers over the weekend but it didn’t seem to deter anyone at all.”
The free Mill Field festival breaks even by selling drinks, pitches for stalls and merchandise.
All the bands perform for free. Mr Pickard added: “I love Charlbury – it is a great place, with a lot of music and a great vibe - and I love seeing people happy.”
