The Prime Minister has outlined various initiatives to help encourage more charitable giving. And, although some people may be inclined to donate at a cash point, there’s also a real opportunity for many of us to give some time to support a local initiative.
Most of us could probably give a little time, if we find something that inspires us and suits our lifestyles.
Our charity runs the volunteering website Do-it, where you can search around one million opportunities by postcode, area of interest and even how much time your have.
Giving time can take so many different forms, whether it’s supporting a local charity or virtual volunteering online, so why not see if there’s something that you could give some time to today?
