A FAMILY of birds has nested in an ashtray outside a riverside pub in Oxford.
Staff at the Victoria Arms, in Mill Lane, Old Marston, have become used to the sight of the family of blue tits flying in and out of the metal ashtray on the pub’s outside wall.
Barman Sam Broughton said: “It’s happened before so we’re used to it now.
“We are very careful to make sure no-one uses the ashtray and there are signs all around it warning people not to.”
