THESE were some of the top players in that popular Oxfordshire pub game, Aunt Sally.
They represented the Cross Keys at South Hinksey and beat their opponents from the Fox at Sandford-on-Thames 2-0 in the Halls Cup Final at Oxford Town Hall in 1967.
The picture comes from Roger Cotterell, who was a member of the cup-winning team.
The full line-up is: back, from left, Gordon Barrett, Ron Clapton, Tommy Trinder, Ginger Hearn, Ken Wilmer; front: Roger Cotterell, Mickey Bean, Bob Turner and Mike Walker.
Both pubs have now closed, but four of the players, Ken Wilmer, Mickey Bean and Bob Turner as well as Mr Cotterell, are still playing, 44 years on, for the Seacourt Arms at Botley.
The new Aunt Sally season is now in full swing.
