THE proprietor of a well-known Oxford bar and restaurant has appeared in court charged with attacking a customer.
Hugh Anderson, who runs the Hi Lo Jamaican Eating House in Cowley Road, appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday. The 67-year-old is charged with wounding with intent, an alternative charge of unlawful wounding, and having a hacksaw as an offensive weapon.
The charges relate to an alleged attack on customer Sean Tizard on October 3.
Anderson, of Cowley Road, denied all three charges and was bailed to stand trial on September 5.
