Police are appealing for witnesses after three men were attacked with a broken bottle in Henley.
The men, all in their early twenties, were walking at Mill Meadow, near Meadow Road, at about 8pm on Friday, when three men attacked them.
One victim was knocked to the floor and repeatedly hit over the head with a broken bottle.
As two of his friends went to his aid, one sustained injuries to his arm as he tried to defend himself, while the second was stabbed in the face with a broken bottle.
All three required hospital treatment, including stitches, for non-life-threatening injuries.
The attackers are described as white men, aged between 20 and 25, and on bicycles.
Anyone with any information on the assault should contact Det Sgt Craig Burchall at Abingdon CID via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
