A TERMINALLY ill toddler was guest of honour at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.

Oxford United supporters first heard of four-year-old Tess Sullivan’s plight before the U’s played her local team Accrington Stanley in August. Since then generous fans have raised more than £4,200 towards sending her on a trip-of-a-lifetime.

Tess and her family had originally planned to meet the fans in December, but the match was called off because of snow.

Tess is pictured walking on the pitch with mum Helen, dad Steve and brother Tyler, 13.

United donated five Oxford United home shirts.

Tess is one of only 50 children in the world to have Alexander disease, and is not expected to live past the age on 10.

Her family are trying to raise money to take her on a Disney cruise.
