STUNT teams, chainsaw carving and dog displays were among the star attractions as thousands of people basked in the sunshine at the Thame Country Fair.

The annual agricultural event, now in its 13th year, celebrates all aspects of rural life, from farming to falconry.

Visitors packed into Thame Showground, in Kingsey Road, on Sunday and yesterday, as temperatures soared to 26C.

Alan Williams and his cob horse, Domino, took part in the equine demonstrations.

Mr Williams, who travelled from Cheshire for the event, said: “Domino is a logging horse and is used in forestry, so we travel across the country doing demonstrations.

“The weather was absolutely stunning and the place was heaving. Thousands of people headed along.

“These types of events are a celebration of country life and it’s great to see so many people are so enthusiastic.”

The fair was organised by Living Heritage.
