SAYING sorry is not easy. A fresh start is needed in politics – and that means learning to say sorry more and to stop arguing and blaming each other so much.

Arguing is time wasted that, in my opinion, could be put to better use.

The current cuts are a very important issue where decision makers should connect more and slow down.

The idea of taking away so much and giving little back in return needs reviewing now. The young and elderly members of society should not lose so many vital services.

As for reforming the NHS, the Government needs to take a step right back and rethink it, because it appears not to be aware of the impact on hospitals that these big changes will make.

We will be left paying the cost, after all, through the consequences of their actions.
