* Ehsan Hussain, 22, of St Mary’s Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxford on February 12. Fined £80, £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.

* Michael Tomczyk, 32, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted attempting to steal a pedal cycle in Oxford on February 7. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £65 costs.

* Robert Ayres, 22, of Bodley Place, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxford on January 22 and failure to surrender to court bail on February 7. Fined £200 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

* Nigel Pask, 42, of Springfield Drive, Abingdon, admitted assault by beating in Didcot on October 18. Given a community order with a requirement to participate in a Community Domestic Violence Programme and undertake two years’ supervision. Told to pay £200 compensation and two-year restraining order also made.

* Julian Gunnett, 36, of Stowford Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend supervision on February 4. Original offence of theft resentenced. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

* Syeda Khatun, 22, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted theft of a handbag valued at £35 from Accessorise and a dress valued at £80 from French Connection in Oxford on October 25. Also admitted theft of a white skirt valued at £25 from Ms Butterfly and a jumper dress valued at £25 from Apricot in Oxford on November 25 and two skirts, a handbag and towel valued at £18 from Primark in Oxford on February 28. One other offence taken into consideration. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offence of theft resentenced. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

* Valdaf Auga, 29, of Butchers Road, London, admitted two counts of assault by beating in Banbury Road, Oxford, on September 13. Told to pay a total of £100 compensation and do 250 hours’ unpaid work.

* Jason Robins, 18, of Derwent Avenue, Oxford, admitted shoplifting four bottle of wine valued at £21.66 from Co-op and assault in Oxford on December 15; being drunk and disorderly in Cowley Place, Oxford, on January 9; failure to surrender to court bail on January 24; and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offence of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour resentenced. Given a six-month alcohol-treatment course and nine months’ supervision.

* David Jones, 47, of Whitehorn Way, Oxford, admitted having an imitation firearm (a gas-powered BB gun) at the Blackbird pub, Oxford, on December 10. Fined £500, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

* Mark Higgins, 37, of Hanson Road, Abingdon, admitted failing to attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent upon, or had a propensity to misuse a Class A drug in Oxford on January 24. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.

* Jacqueline Phillips, 45, of Verbena Way, Oxford, admitted persistently making use of a public electronic communications network for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another between February 26 and March 3. Also admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Four similar original offences and one original offence of wasting police time resentenced. Jailed for eight weeks.

* Jame Rees, 40, of Windmill Lane, Wheatley, admitted shoplifting a £5 CD from Asda in Wheatley on January 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £25 costs.

* Clair Richardson, 37, of Speedwell Street, Oxford admitted shoplifting five bottles of alcohol valued at £93.15 from Marks and Spencer in Oxford on February 18 and commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Original offence of shoplifting resentenced. Four other offences taken into consideration. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation order and nine months’ supervision.

* John Gardner, 29, of Hobbs Close, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Hobbs Close on February 10. Namely having 88 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £580, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

* Kevin Mwaura, 22, of Peregrine Road, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on November 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £100 costs.

* Thomas Lillis, 67, of Minchery Road, Oxford admitted harassment on March 4. Given a four-month curfew between 7pm and 6am.

* Nagib Abdullah, 38, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting £325.76 of fragrances from Debenhams in Oxford on February 23. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

* Alan Aspall, 33, of Trafford Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Oxford, on February 19. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
