YOUNGSTERS have been going wild in a freestyle painting workshop in Cowley.
Run at the Ark T Centre in Crowell Road, Cowley, the workshop saw 25 children turn up and let their creative juices flow.
Pieces of hardboard were laid out so that those who turned up could paint anything that took their fancy.
The artist who ran the event, Giles Davies, 44, said: “I didn’t want it to sound too structured or school-like.”
“The theme was the jungle, but people were free to paint whatever they wanted.
“I thought that if there was a theme it would help people.”
“They enjoyed it and it seemed to go very well. Even some of the adults joined in.”
Twins Debora, left, and Neide Alves Menezes, seven, are pictures showing off their work.
Neide said: “I painted some pictures and had a lovely time.”
