YOUNGSTERS produced their own take on classic sculptures at Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum.
They made plaster casts with the help of city artist Francesca Shakespeare to mark the forthcoming Oxfordshire Artweeks annual celebration of the county’s art and artists.
Vernon Green, seven, a pupil at East Oxford Primary School, said: “I enjoyed it. I would give myself a 10 out of 20. My sister is more arty than me.”
The fruits of their labour will be displayed in the Ashmolean alongside the work of professional artists throughout the programme of events, from May 7 till May 30.
During Artweeks, hundreds of artists put their work on show around the county.
