THE illegal use of a disabled parking spot is a real sign of the lazy and ignorant.
The temptation of a prime spot is always there but it is staggering to see how many people have been caught in the city over the past year actually parking in a disabled space.
You have to consider, then, that this is actually only a fraction of the times it is done.
Those spaces are there for a reason, and it is a slap in the face of the disabled every time an able-bodied motorist uses them.
