PEOPLE convicted of offences at Oxford Magistrates’ Court recently:

* Anne-Marie Stephens, 28, of Evenlode Tower, Oxford, admitted causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on October 9. Told to pay £200 compensation and given six months’ supervision and a restorative justice requirement.

* Florina Dinu, 26, of Sheringham Avenue, London, admitted shoplifting with two others 23 bottles of Jack Daniels valued at £523.84 from Tesco in Oxford on January 28. Also admitted committing another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Jailed for four weeks.

* Matthew James, 28, of Speedwell Street, admitted shoplifting Krug Champagne from Oxford Wine Company on October 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £58.95 compensation.

* Marc Porter, 33, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting 17 meat items and 15 washing liquids valued at £154.77 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on January 12. Given a six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and 12 months’ supervision. Also told to pay £154.77 compensation.

* Jason Phipps, 30, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, convicted of driving without a licence or insurance in London Road, Headington, on July 26. Fined £150, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £15 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
