A 63-year-old pedestrian was in a critical condition in hospital last night after she was involved in a collision with a van in Radley.
The woman was at the junction with Pebble Hill in Kennington Road at about 4.30pm on Sunday when the accident involving a Mercedes Vito van happened.
She suffered serious head and pelvis injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital.
The road was closed for just over three hours while investigations were carried out.
