On a cold morning in Kidlington, Ardington 6 matches unbeaten run in the league came to an end. In a well contested match, an early penalty put Kidlington 1-0 up. Goal Keeper Tommy Rees making contact but unable to stop the ball finding the net.
Ardington however pressed forward forcing some smart saves from the oppositions goal keeper. It was unlucky when a slip from the defence let in Kidlington to make it 2-0, much against the run of play. Still Ardington heads didn't drop, and they were duly rewarded when a Callum Betts cross was converted by Freddie Robson to make it 2-1. Some late goal mouth action couldn't prevent the home team holding on to take the three points.
