CHILDREN can enjoy historical holiday fun at the Museum of Oxford this half term.
Activities at the Town Hall venue, starting on Monday, February 21, include craft sessions to make a Tudor peg doll, a jousting helmet or colourful ruff fit for a lord.
The museum will also run gallery trails, including Footprints in the Snow, where youngsters follow tracks to find out what or who has been wandering around the exhibitions.
Craft activities, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, cost £1.50 per person and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Other activities include brass rubbing and a hunt for Alice-related objects in the A-Z of Literary Oxford gallery.
A new exhibition has also opened at the museum to showcase its work with community groups across Oxford and includes a replica 1960s Mini.
Oxford City Council leader Bob Price said: “I would encourage people to come along and see this exhibition as it is a great opportunity to see all the varied work and projects that have taken place over the last year.”
