*Trevor Francis, 31, of Blay Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat and alcohol valued at £207.88 from Marks and Spencer, going equipped for theft and committing another offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence in Oxford on January 19. Jailed for 16 weeks.

*Toby Hooper, 23, of Forestry Cottages, Christmas Common, admitted harassment without violence between November 2 and December 5 in Watlington by texting, calling, emailing and hacking into the accounts of a woman and eight counts of causing a computer to perform a function to secure/enable unauthorised access to a program/data. Given 280 hours’ unpaid work and a restraining order, and told to pay £500 compensation and £85 costs.

* Tina McDonagh, 26, of Samphire Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to work as instructed on December 13. Original offence of shoplifting baby clothing worth £88.88 from TK Maxx on August 21 resentenced. Fined £200.

* Jamie McElroy, 32, from Plymouth, admitted failing to provide a roadside breath specimen in Oxford on July 8. Given six months’ supervision and banned from driving for three years.

* Jackie Phillips, 45, of Verbena Way, Oxford, admitted persistently making use of public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety, and committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge in Oxford on January 19. Given a 28-day night-time curfew.

* Ashley Bird, 19, of Bugloss Walk, Bicester, convicted of racially aggravated harassment (words) in Oxford on August 28. Told to pay £150 compensation and £400 costs.

* Shaun Collett, 25, of Craufurd Road, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on January 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

* Krzysztof Wojtowicz, 25, from West Bromwich, admitted shoplifting two pairs of jeans valued at £170 from Debenhams in Oxford on January 6. Told to perform 120 hours’ unpaid work and pay £85 costs.

* Martin East, 23, of Weyland Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cocaine (Class A) and failure to take a drug test in Oxford on December 5. Given 150 hours’ unpaid work.

* Kevin Green, 36, of Pottery Piece, Oxford, admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment with fear of violence and racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on July 5 and words or behaviour to cause fear of unlawful violence in Oxford on July 14. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

* Daniel Durham, 24, of Windmill Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a laptop valued at £899 from Currys in Oxford on September 27; shoplifting meat from Co-op in Botley on October 29 and possession of cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on October 15. Told to pay £459.50 compensation and do 60 hours’ unpaid work while under 12 months’ supervision. Also told to attend an Employment Activity Requirement for five days and 22 days’ Thinking Skills requirement.

* Adam Nash, 32, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a laptop valued at £899 from Currys in Oxford on September 27. Told to pay £449.50 compensation and do 100 hours’ unpaid work.

* Stuart Nelson, 39, of Weirs Lane, Oxford, admitted making 29 indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child in Oxford between June 14, 2007, and June 20, 2008; and three counts of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying a sexual act with an animal. Given a one-year supervision order and told to sign sex offenders’ register for five years.

* Kimberley Petrie, 26, of Aston Street, Oxford, admitted receiving stolen jewellery and perfume between August 16 and 18 and failure to surrender to court bail on December 16. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement and pay £40 costs and £180 compensation.

* Simon Reid, 43, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted handling a stolen bike valued at £320 in Oxford on September 2. Fined £70, £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
