POP fans descended on a fashion store in Oxford to meet up-and-coming girl group The Scarletz.
The group – from left, Claire Martyne, Tahnee Lee, Katiya Borlant and Bryony Jobes – modelled clothing and sang songs from their new album at the St Aldate’s Booty store on Monday.
Booty Fashion director Louise Trueman said: “It was a fantastic event and everyone enjoyed themselves. The girls have been visiting lots of schools in the area and we thought it would be nice to get them in the store.”
The performance was recorded and will be put on YouTube as part of Talent Oxford, the biggest school talent show in the county.
This week marks Oxfordshire Talent Week, with bands like The Scarletz going into local schools and colleges to promote young talent.
The Scarletz member Claire Martyne said: “We are having a great time on tour round Oxfordshire, we love being able to set an example to the kids.
“A lot of children think it’s easy to be in the music business, because of shows like X-Factor.
“Talent Oxford is about showing that it is hard work and nurturing talent right the way through, so we love being part of that.”
