It was a windy day as Ardington looked to make it 5 wins on the bounce against Marston Saints. The game started with a high tempo, with the weather acting as a wild card. After a few minutes early Ardington pressure was rewarded when Callum Betts side footed the ball into the net. However Marston heads did not drop and some good running into the box resulted in the equaliser.

Ardington continued to press forward however, and Flannagan unfortunatly had a goal disallowed before putting his team back into the lead. A second goal by Betts made it 3 - 1 at half time.

In the second half Marston continued to make a fight of the game and after a few good chances a looped ball decieved goal keeper Tommy Rees and despite his efforts the ball was deemed to cross the line. For a while Marson looked like they might pull it back before Flannagan put the game to bed when he skipped through to slot the ball home. A deserved win which
