Two men have been charged after lead was stolen from five churches and a school in southern Oxfordshire.
James Wall, 20, and Aaron Hennessy, 24, both of Beeching Way, Wallingford, face charges following the theft of lead from All Saints Church, Didcot, St Michaels All Angels Church in Abingdon, St Peter and St Paul Church in Wantage, St Michael Church in Blewbury, St Andrews Church in East Hagbourne and Manor County Infants School in Didcot.
The two men have also asked for a total of 17 other offences to be taken into consideration.
The pair have been given conditional bail not to go into any church premises in the Thames Valley area and will appear at Didcot Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 9.
