Police today appealed for information after a man was assaulted in Wallingford.
The 60-year-old man was walking through the Kinecroft between 2pm and 2.30pm on Monday, when he became involved in a verbal altercation with another man, who then assaulted him.
PC Sue Bradshaw said: “I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have seen or heard something and who might be able to help us with our investigation.”
No description of the man who carried out the assault has been issued.
