TELEVISION: what have we done to deserve this load of rubbish.

The same films are repeated over and over, and the adverts are getting longer and longer. I keep my hand on the mute button so at least I don’t have to listen to them. Even the Christmas telly was awful. There are so many repeats, if we haven’t watched them by now then we never will. But they will still keep putting them on Instead of giving thousands of pounds away on game shows, perhaps stations could give their staff a few quid to pick up a few films from a boot sale. It beats repeatedly showing outdated rubbish.

If everyone in the country left their televisions off for 24 hours, then perhaps channels would get the message.

The BBC’s licence fee is certainly not money well spent. They wouldn’t know what to do without the repeats either.
