FOUR Scandinavians are set to wow audiences with dance and music ranging from ballet to duets.
Oxford Playhouse will host the UK premiere of Danish Dance Theatre as the group starts its nationwide tour.
The group, one of the leading dance companies in Scandinavia, was due to perform last night and will be on stage again tonight.
The show, which starts at 7.30pm, features three performances from the region.
Theatre spokesman Madeleine Woolgar said: “This is the first time Tim Rushton’s unique and captivating choreography has been seen in this country, and it’s perfect for avid dance fans and first-timers alike.”
One of the dancers, Milou Nuyens, said: “It’s great to be here in this amazing city.
“We are so excited to perform for the audience in Oxford.”
