A 50-year-old man from Oxford was due in court today on suspicion of breaching his Anti-Social Behaviour Order (ASBO).
Leslie Belcher was arrested at his home address on Magdalen Road at 4pm yesterday after allegedly being spotted congregating with members of the public in Magdalen Road, Oxford.
Police said he was detained and was due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
Belcher was given the ASBO on October 15, 2010, by Oxford Magistrates’ Court following a high number of complaints from local residents regarding street drinkers congregating in the area around Magdalen Road.
